LHC's mission is to ensure that every Louisiana resident is granted an opportunity to obtain safe, affordable, energy-efficient housing. We administer federal and state funds through programs designed to advance the development of energy-efficient and affordable housing for working families, drive housing policy for Louisiana, and oversee the state's Disaster Housing Task Force.
Each day, this ongoing challenge to produce more safe, affordable, and energy-efficient housing is met by a dedicated staff of professionals who help families make their housing dreams a reality.

LHC Department Updates
LHC's Executive Director Joshua G. Hollins Departs for Private Sector
“It is with immense pride in the work accomplished and mixed emotions that I return to the private sector,” said Executive Director Joshua G. Hollins. “As I look to new adventures, I have no reservations about the capabilities of the team at LHC to continue the mission of LHC with excellence.”
Executive Director Joshua G. Hollins spoke at the Louisiana Municipal Association in Alexandria. Other members of LHC were present to discuss LHC's programs with state leaders.

Daniel Duggan, LHC Marketing Representative Supervisor, taught a Continuing Education Class - Closing the Affordability Gap: What Every Real Estate Professional Should Know - to the New Orleans Metropolitan Area Realtors Association.
Baton Rouge
Jessica Norman and Angela Davis, with LHC Homelessness Solutions Department, attended P.R.E.A.C.H (Presenting Resources Effectively Applying Christlike Humbleness).

Executive Director Hollins participated in the Partnership Housing Roundtable with Congressman Troy Carter, USDA-RD State Director Deidre Deculus Robert, and Louisiana Department of Insurance representatives in a three-stop tour across Louisiana's 2nd Congressional District.

Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bonds
LHC board of directors accepted the parameter term proposal for the purchase of not exceeding $80 million of LHC Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bonds in one or more series or subsidies.
#TeamLHC celebrates the return of the Louisiana Housing Conference, which will be in Baton Rouge at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capital Center from September 24th-26th.
