LABOSCOC RECEIVES HUD AWARD
The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) is proud to announce that theLouisiana Balance of State Continuum of Care (LA BOSCOC)received an award of $29 million in the fiscal year 2023 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This significant award includes funding for all projects requested by LA BOSCOC, with adjustments made for Fair Market Rent (FMR).

LHC Concludes Applications for the Blue Tarp Roofing Repair Program
The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) has officially closed its application process for the Blue Tarp Roofing Repair Programafter receiving an overwhelming response from the community. LHC has received a total of 217 Blue Tarp eligible applications and provided roof repairs for 99 homeowners to date. LHC expects to be able to serve another 75-80 homeowners, with the current available funding.More information to come about a potential Round 2.
Our middle market renters are increasingly rent burdened as a result of the impact by the major disasters of Hurricanes Laura, Delta, and Ida. This program was designed to promote economic development while addressing affordability for our workforce population by targeting mixed-rate developments that will be located in high cost areas and developments are able to repay the MMLP award by year twenty. The LHC is pleased to announce the top scoring developments of the 2023 Middle Market Loan Program.

Congressional Delegation Meetings
LHC Executive Staff members traveled to D.C. to discuss housing priorities across the state, insurance relief, federal appropriation resources, including the Affordable Housing-Credit Improvement Act, and the need to review Fair Market Value Rates.
