Energy Awareness Month
The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) joins the nation in recognizing October as Energy Awareness Month. This annual observance serves as a reminder of the critical importance of energy efficiency, sustainability, and conservation in Louisiana communities and homes. Throughout October, LHC hosted educational workshops and events to engage with communities and promote energy awareness. These initiatives will focus on educating residents, landlords, and developers about the benefits of energy-efficient housing, and providing resources and incentives for implementing energy-saving measures.
Central Intermediate students visited LHC's Weatherization Center to learn about heat, what it is, and how it moves in our homes.
