LHC Board of Directors authorizes LHC to issue NOFA of $35M for multifamily housing

The Board of Directors approved issuing a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the preliminary commitment of up to $35M of combined HUD HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds and HUD CDBG-DR 2020-2021 funds to provide funding for the development of multifamily affordable rental housing in Louisiana to assist people experiencing homelessness, those at risk of becoming homeless, and other vulnerable populations.

• Approved a Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek proposals for Professional Title, closing, and Foreclosure Services and to provide for other matters in connection therewith. 
• Approved RFP to seek proposals for Property Management Services of Mid-City Gardens Apartments, Property Management Services of Willowbrook Apartments, and Property Management Services of Village de Jardin Apartments
• Approved RFP to select and contract with selected proposer(s) for Environmental Services
• Approved selection and contract with The Workforce Group, LLC to the RFP for Consulting Services for Homelessness and Housing Voucher Programs.
