The Louisiana Housing Corporation directs persons with disabilities to programs and resources such as The Permanent Supportive Housing Program and the Project-Based Voucher Program. Find out more about what these programs can offer tenants.
In keeping with its mission to ensure that every Louisiana resident is granted an opportunity to obtain safe, affordable, energy-efficient housing, the LHC directs renters and prospective renters to the following programs and resources.
These programs offer decent, safe, affordable, community-based housing that provide tenants with the rights of tenancy and connections to voluntary and flexible support and services for people with very low incomes and chronic, disabling health conditions.
Permanent supportive housing is a proven, effective means of reintegrating individuals from vulnerable backgrounds into the community by addressing their basic needs for housing and providing ongoing support.
Project-based vouchers are a component of an agency's housing choice voucher program. The voucher assistance can be attached to specific housing units under certain conditions.
This free resource helps renters or prospective homebuyers find housing across the state.
