LHC Board of Directors Appoints Marjorianna Willman as Executive Director of The Louisiana Housing Corporation

The LHC Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint Marjorianna Willman as the Permanent Executive Director for the Louisiana Housing Corporation. Ms. Willman served as Interim Executive Director since October 2023 and previously served as the Chief Operating and Legal Officer for the agency. Ms. Willman comes with almost twenty years of experience in the affordable housing industry. “We must deliver with a sense of urgency, there are people depending on us, it’s not a job for me it is a mission,” said Ms. Willman.

Lafitte Phase VII Project | New Orleans, LA

LHC Board of Directors approved $14.3 million in Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds for Lafitte Phase VII, located on North Johnson Street and multiple contiguous sites within a 2.75-acre block bounded by North Prieur Street, Lafitte Avenue, North Roman Street, and Orleans Avenue. LHC will authorize the staff and counsel to allocate 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits to such facilities.

• Approved $125 million of LHC Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bonds in one or more series or subseries, fixing the parameter of terms of said bonds and otherwise providing with respect to said bonds. 
• 2025 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) Discussion. The next 2025 QAP Public Hearing will be on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at LHC Headquarters in Baton Rouge, LA, from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m.
