Site Menu & Redirects

This section references the page navigation menu and page redirect settings of your website. To locate your website settings click the Guide_IconGear in the HubSpot dashboard. All instructions provided below will begin from this screen.

Navigation Menu

Any time a new page is created and the page needs to appear in the menu, you must add it to the site navigation.

  1. From the Site Settings menu, click Website > Navigation
  2. To add a child item, hover over the Parent Item > click Actions > select Child Item
  3. Enter the name of your menu item
  4. From the select a page dropdown, locate the page you want to link to
    1. If you want to link to an outside source, click Actions (on your child item) and choose a “Replace With” option.
  5. To sort the order of your menu items or to move an item out from under a parent, click and hold the left-hand-side of the item then drag-and-drop the menu item into place.Guide_Nav
  6. Once you’ve finished adding all your new menu items, click Button_Publish

URL Redirects

Any time you change a pages URL path HubSpot will automatically create a URL Redirect, to prevent visitors from hitting a 404 Error page. If you need to add your own redirect, modify or delete a redirect you can do that from this section.

  1. From the Site Settings menu, click Domains & URLs
  2. Click the URL Redirects tab (Click Go to URL Mappings)
  3. Click Add a New Redirect to create a new mapping
  4. Or click the ActionIcon next to an existing mapping to edit or delete
