Project Higlights

Morningside at Joor Place | Baton Rouge, LA

LHC Board of Directors approved the issue to not exceed $22,400,000 in Multifamily Revenue Bonds for Morningside at Joor Place. This new construction project will consist of 145 units dedicated to senior citizens and to households at 30-80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). There will be 73 one-bedroom and 72 two-bedroom units. 

LHC Board Members Accept Audit Results 

Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) Board of Directors accepted the audit results report by External Auditors Duplantier, Hrapmann, Hogan & Maher, LLP regarding the June 30, 2023, Audit Results from LHC General Fund, LHC Combined Willowbrook Apartments, Village de Jardin Apartments, Mid-City Garden Apartments, and Louisiana Housing Authority. 

Action Items

• Approved issuance of a RFP for Environmental Services.
• Approved issuance of a RFP for Consulting Services for Homelessness and Housing Voucher Programs.
• Approved resolution of the Home Appliance Replacement Program (HARP) for senior citizens.
