The Louisiana Housing Corporation (the “Corporation”) hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held pursuant to the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, concerning its proposed issuance of not exceeding One Hundred Million Dollars ($100,000,000) of Louisiana Housing Corporation Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bonds, Series 2025A (Non-AMT) (the “Bonds”) under the provisions of Chapter 3-G of Title 40 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, as amended (R.S.40:600.1 through R.S.40:600.24) (the “Act”), and other constitutional and statutory authority supplemental thereto. The Bonds are being issued pursuant to the Corporation’s General Indenture of Trust dated as of February 1, 2025 (the “General Indenture”) and a Series 2025A/B Indenture (the “Series 2025A/B Indenture”, together with the General Indenture, the “Indenture”) for the purpose of providing funds for the Corporation to finance qualified mortgage loans throughout the State of Louisiana with the proceeds of the Bonds which will be allocated private activity volume cap pursuant to Section 146 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”), and to pay the cost issuance of the Bonds as permitted under the Code. The Bonds are limited obligations of the Corporation and will be payable solely out of the income, revenues and receipts derived from the Mortgaged Backed Securities backed by qualified mortgage loans and certain funds and accounts held under and pursuant to the Indenture and pledged therefore. As provided in the Act and the Indenture, the Bonds do not constitute and obligation, either general or special, of the State of Louisiana, any municipality, or any other political subdivision thereof.
The Corporation will hold a public hearing with respect to the issuance of said Bonds on January 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., Louisiana Time, at the offices of the Louisiana Housing Corporation, 2415 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70808. The meeting will be open to the public in accordance with law, and any comments with respect to the proposed Bonds will be received and considered by the Board. Written comments received at the offices of the Corporation prior to the date of the meeting will be considered.
