CAll-To-ACtion Buttons

This section references all CTA buttons as seen on select website pages. To locate your website call-to-action buttons, navigate to Marketing > Lead Capture > CTAs. All instructions provided below will begin from this screen.

It’s important to note, that many buttons are shared across pages. These buttons are used within the banner sections found at the bottom of select pages. Altering the name or link of a button will affect any page where that button has been added. See instructions below for how to identify which page(s) the button is listed on.

If you need to change a button only on select pages, it is recommended that you create a new button specifically for that call-to-action. Then from the page editor, swap out the button to your newly created button. See instructions below for how to create a new button.

Identify Where CTA is Used

From the list of CTA buttons, locate the button you want to review and select the column labeled Clicks to see a full list of pages where the button is being used.

Add New CTA

  1. To add a new button, click Create CTA
  2. From the editor window, enter the following information:
    1. Button Content: Enter the text that will appear on your button. *Please note that for CTA banners with two buttons, the names must be short in length. Long-titled buttons will cause layout issues (especially on smaller sized devices). For reference, you can review the existing buttons to see how they are titled.
    2. Button Style: Select Link (No Style) from the dropdown.
    3. Button Color: Set to white or enter #ffffff
    4. Click the Advanced Options dropdown Custom CSS Class Paste the following text into this field (this is the styling for the buttons): button color-1
  3. Click Next to navigate to the next step and enter the following information CTA Internal Name Title the button internally for easy recognition. URL Redirect Type Choose to link this button to an External Site, Website (HubSpot) Page, or to a File Link; Selecting one from the dropdown will generate a new field for you to either paste a URL link, choose a website page, or upload a file. If you link to an external site or file, check the box to “Open in a New Window”.
  4. Click Save to finish publishing your button.
  5. Click Finish to close the editor.
  6. The next step is to add your CTA to a page. See the instructions below.

Replace CTA on PAge

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Website > Website Pages and select the page where you want to add the button.
  2. Click to edit the page.
  3. Locate the CTA Banner (at the bottom of the page)
    1. Add to Image Banner: Click the text section to edit > From the text editor, click your cursor where you want to insert the button > From the tools list, click the Insert dropdown and select Call-to-Action > Choose your CTA button from the popup window and click Insert.
    2. Add to No Image Banner:  Click the existing CTA module > From the editor window, click Replace CTA > Choose your CTA button from the popup window and click Insert CTA
  4. Once all buttons have been replaced, click Publish to push your changes live.
